What Did I Truly Do Right?
But So Much Has Been Done!
Dearest friend,
Thank you for sticking with me all through the year. I’m full of excitement as I share the last newsletter of 2025 with you.
One truth I want to highlight immediately is this: You’ve done well these past eleven months.
Thank you for choosing growth.
Do you know what it truly means to keep showing up? Gosh! You’ve been here since January. Even on days you didn’t feel like owning the moment, you didn’t let that stop you. You are solid.
Thank you for believing in yourself, even on the hard days.
Here’s your bouquet of flowers…🌹🌹🌹 Please, take it.
As we prepare for the year 2026, I’m taking stock. What about you?
It’s that time of year where gratitude posts fly everywhere. While those reflections are valid, some questions still demand honest answers. I, for one, am trying to wrap my head around so many things.
These past eleven months… What did I really do right?
Growth, in its truest form, is the willingness to review yourself honestly. To sift through the moments, the decisions, and the patterns.
Where did I rise? Where did I fall short?
This review doesn’t erase the gratitude. It doesn’t silence the part of us that deserves flowers for surviving and becoming. But walking into this last month of the year has shown me something deeply personal:
My feelings have robbed me of progress I could have achieved this year.
This is not the time to drift. We cannot jump from trend to trend without direction. It is time to face our truths without running from them.
You know the pattern. Morning arrives and I feel unstoppable—ready to conquer everything. Four hours later? “Oh no… I can’t do this.” And I drop the task. Not because the work changed. Just because I felt differently.
I’ve learned something from that.
Building a life around changing feelings is not sustainable. This next season will demand a little more firmness. A little more discipline. A little more “do it because it matters,” and a little less “do it because I feel like it.”
Purpose looks like priority. And priority looks like owning it.
That’s the direction I’m walking into as the year closes. I hope you join me.
