Forward is Forward
To the Men in Our Community❤️
Hey there,
Can you believe we’re already in the second half of 2025?
Ebuka from X Street once told me, “Before you become the Minister of Enjoyment, you must first serve as the Minister of Works.” And honestly, that’s the story of the first six months: showing up, doing the hard work, and pushing through.
Maybe you ticked all your boxes this year so far. Maybe you're still figuring it out. But whether you're feeling proud, tired, or unsure, here's something to remember:
One thing is certain: progress, no matter how slow it feels, is still forward motion.
So, what does "forward" look like for you in the months ahead? Will you move with a steady rhythm or take it one deliberate step at a time? And if "forwardness" feels like too much right now, that's perfectly okay.
As Confucius, a Chinese teacher, said, “A man is great not because he hasn’t failed; a man is great because failure hasn’t stopped him.”
You're not alone on this journey.
Welcome to the second half. Let’s go again, with grit, grace, and heart.

To the Men in Our Community
To all the incredible men in our community, I owe you an apology. June was Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, and in the whirlwind of everything, I missed the opportunity to celebrate you.
This is for:
The one who keeps showing up.
The father whose smile lights up his child’s day.
The steady husband, the loyal friend, the present employer.
The men who hold space, protect, support, and cheer others on.
Na man you be 🌹
Even though June thought it slipped past, I didn’t forget you, the brave warriors on the front line, making room for women to rise, cheering them on, protecting, providing, and simply being there. You are here, left, right, center. Here and now.
You are more than just muscle and might. You are heart, humanity, and your vulnerability matters.
So, this message is for you: Rest. Receive love. Seek support. Not because you are weak, but because you are human too. You deserve the space to breathe, to speak, and to be held.
So even now, in July, keep going.
We see you. We honour you.
You’re not alone.
Victoria ❤️
